Today I “consulted” a man with his organization and I totally redeemed myself as far as why I’m in the marketing industry. I’m thinking to myself, “What am I going to be able to tell him?” Yet we rattled on for a couple of hours.
It’s a nice feeling to know that you have knowledge that others want to learn from you.
Now that I’m back at work, I have a fresh outlook on where I’m at in this fiasco and feel better.
I half expected the man to offer me a job at the end of our meeting, but he did not. Not sure if I would take it (or if he could afford me, thank you), but it would have been a nice gesture. Who knows, maybe that will help me in the future.
